NO KINGS EVENT IN GOLD BEACH

On Saturday, June 14, Curry County showed up. Over 500 people, who were neither paid nor bussed to the event but are simply Curry County residents, gathered in Gold Beach to rally and march in the No Kings Day event. They joined over five million people who gathered at 2000 events across the United States. No Kings Day is now one of the largest days of protest in American history. The Gold Beach protest was a peaceful, joyous display of First Amendment rights and a brave, patriotic stand in defense of our Constitution and our democracy. Curry County displayed the true strength of America: its people standing up for liberty and justice for all.

Indivisible North Curry County would like to thank the Gold Beach Police Department for their assistance in keeping marchers safe as they crossed Highway 101, Nobel Laureate Kip Thorne and his inspiring words during the rally, and, most of all, the enthusiastic, peaceful participants whose attendance made the day such a huge success.
